It all started with 7 little bags
We’re Patrick and Cindy, parents of four (two boys, two girls). In October 2024 we started Crunchy Orchard in Magog, Quebec, with one simple wish: share a snack we were proud to hand our own kids, just fruit with no added sugar, with other families like yours.
We started with almost nothing: a small space, a big dream and a whole lot of will. Then came the MAPAQ approval, the tests, and plenty of trial and error. Those first little 50 g bags had their labels stuck on by hand, front and back, one at a time. Nothing was perfect, but everything was sincere.
Today the bags look a little fancier (and each fruit has its own size now), but the idea hasn’t changed one bit: real fruit, no added sugar, shared with families who care about what goes in the snack drawer.
Meet the family
Patrick & Hugo
Patrick runs the business and helps get our bags onto store shelves, often with Hugo. Hugo also builds the wooden display racks that hold our bags at the market and in local bakeries.
Cindy
Cindy keeps the admin side running, so orders, invoices and everything in between.
Chloé & Zack
Chloé and Zack help prepare orders.
Mahée
Mahée is the smile at our stand at the Magog Sunday market, in season. She hands out free tastings, and her favourite part is watching a kid’s face at the very first crunch.
Chloé and Mahée also take many of the photos and videos you see from us.
